Our client is searching for a Spanish speaking+A14 Financial Crime Risk Manager with expertise in regulations, fraud detection and investigative techniques. If you're passionate about protecting financial integrity, driving operational excellence and leading from the front then this is the role for you. The role is due to start in Q3 2025. Key responsibilities:

  • Act as the final escalation point for complex cases and risk assessments.
  • Conduct high-risk financial crime investigations and ensure compliance.
  • Provide coaching & training to enhance team capabilities.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to refine fraud prevention strategies.
  • Support operational improvements by identifying trends and recommending solutions.
About you:
  • Fluent Spanish and English
  • Strong financial crime expertise with a deep understanding of regulations and risk frameworks.
  • Proven ability to handle complex investigations & high-risk escalations.
  • Experience providing technical guidance and training in financial crime prevention.

Oversee the preparation of annual statutory accounts and the audit process. Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to senior leadership. Maintain and improve financial controls, systems, and processes. Ensure compliance with VAT, tax, Companies House, and ONS filing requirements. Produce detailed financial reports, including balance sheet, cashflow, and reserves analysis. Negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers and clients. Engage confidently with internal and external stakeholders to support strategic goals. Drive system and process improvements with a focus on innovation and technology.Qualifications & Experience: Fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA/ CIPFA) with ideally 5+ years post-qualification experience. Strong financial accounting and audit experience. Charity experience preferred. Solid understanding of VAT, tax, and statutory reporting. Experience managing finance systems and delivering process improvements. Proven experience with contract negotiation and compliance. Exposure to defined benefit pension schemes and insurance renewals is beneficial.Skills & Attributes: Advanced Excel skills; knowledge of Power BI an advantage.
