Head of Research & Content - Global Events CompanyLocation: London HybridSalary: 45,000- 55,000 base + 10-20% performance-based bonus

Join a leading global events company and take a pivotal role in shaping and driving content strategy across their premier conferences in technology, telecoms, and infrastructure sectors. With 22 annual events attracting 200-8,000 attendees and revenues ranging from 400k to 8m, this organization is poised for continued growth. Following acquisitions and a major rebrand, they are seeking an experienced Head of Research & Content to lead content strategy and insight-driven decision-making across the business.

In this senior leadership position, you'll lead a team of researchers and content producers, overseeing high-impact event content focused on Middle East & Eurasia. You'll play a pivotal role in driving research initiatives, building relationships with key stakeholders, and ensuring content aligns with market trends, audience needs, and business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead research and content strategy, ensuring events remain aligned with market trends and audience demands.
  • Manage and mentor a team of researchers and content producers, fostering growth and development.
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, particularly in Central Asia, to enhance regional expertise.
  • Collaborate with sales, sponsors, and internal teams to deliver compelling content that drives commercial success.
  • Utilize research to inform strategic decisions on event themes, speaker selection, and emerging business opportunities.
  • Oversee multiple regional portfolios, ensuring alignment with commercial objectives and audience needs.

What We're Looking For:

  • Proven leadership experience in finance, telecoms, investment, technology, or infrastructure events.
  • Strong track record of driving research strategies that inform content creation and enhance event relevance.
  • Proven ability to manage and mentor teams in fast-paced environments.
  • Exposure to Asian markets (Singapore, Japan, etc.) is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of sponsor needs and business objectives.
  • Willingness to travel internationally to maintain regional relationships and market expertise.
