Job Title: Head of Low Carbon Infrastructure Projects

The Role

The Safety Manager will lead all aspects of health and safety, food safety and fire safety. Partnering with all departments, they will build, implement and maintain a safety management system that complies with safety standards and legislation while also driving a positive safety culture of best practice ensuring my client remains a leader of safety in the industry.

Work across the outreach services providing leadership and guidance to the teams, observe and feedback on practice to improve quality, positive behavioural support and person-centred approaches.Undertake regular supervision meetings with staff & facilitate team meetings.Ensure support plans are current and staff are aware of the review and implementation of individual support plans.Manage performance issues engaging the appropriate informal / formal processes where necessary and with guidance from Service Manager/HR.Manage the staffing resources of the service including rota management and staff budgetsTo undertake any other reasonable duties as requested.

Perform detailed assessments of referrals, focusing on sensory and environmental needs, dynamic risk assessments, to evaluate their suitability for our accommodation and recommend suitable support packages.Monitor and respond to incoming referrals, ensuring timely and thorough assessments.Utilise innovative and accessible methods to conduct assessments, ensuring that individuals and their families can actively contribute to the process.Work closely with social workers, and other stakeholders to gather relevant information and make informed decisions.Create individualised outcome focused support plans based on assessment findings, ensuring that each person receives tailored support.Develop and provide accessible information to individuals and their families to facilitate their understanding and involvement in the assessment process.Keep precise and up-to-date records of assessments, decisions, and plans.Provide clear and compassionate communication with to people, their families, and other professionals involved in their support Support and coach local colleagues and teams to develop their skills and competency in conducting quality, thorough assessments

A fantastic opportunity has emerged for a specialist Income Recovery Officer to join one of our most improved public sector housing clients in a full time (35 hours per week, Monday to Friday) temporary role for the next 3-4 months.Based in Central London for 1-2 days per week and the rest working from home, our client is looking for a candidate who has experience of: Ensuring prompt and appropriate contact is made with customers who fall into arrears of rent and/or other charges. Running weekly rent arrears reports, keeping records of actions taken and corresponding with tenants. Advising tenants on Housing Benefit and Universal Credit, with the aim of sustaining tenancies. Liaising with benefit agencies to resolve problems with Housing Benefit and Universal Credit. Carrying out dedicated home visits Submitting former tenant debts for write-off where the debt is unrecoverable. Taking legal action against residents who will not pay, including representing the Association in court. Applying for grants, DHP's, APA's and Direct UC payments Making affordable repayment agreements taking income and expenditure into account. Offering appropriate advice and support including referrals to the Tenancy Sustainment Service. Proactively monitoring and managing rent and service charge accounts for both current and former residents across all tenure types. Participating in the development, implementation and successful delivery of income and financial inclusion projects and service improvementsThis role requires the successful candidate to have experience in housing management, be highly self-motivated and be strong on the telephone. Previous public sector experience would be useful, but not essential.
