Monitor Health and Safety standards for the Bank and branchesEnsure the bank and employees comply with safety legislationEnsure working practices comply with legislation and all relevant policies and procedures are in place for the BankComplying with Health and Safety legislation and any developments ensuring the Bank remains compliant at all timesProvide advice, guidance and strategy on all aspects of health, safety and welfare to directors, branch managers, department managers, employees as appropriateAttend the Health & Safety Working Group (bi-monthly)Ensure actions following the Health & Safety Working Group are completedPlan, implement, monitor and review protective and preventative safety measuresCarry out risk assessments and consider how risks could be reducedCarry out site inspections to check policies and procedures are being properly implemented and followedKeep records of inspection findings and produce reports that suggest improvementsLead in-house training with managers and employees about Health and Safety issues and risksEnsure actions following assessments are completed in a timely mannerCollate all first aid reports and monitor trendsManage communications relating to Health and Safety matters
