On behalf of The Ministry of Justice, we are looking for a Technical Architect Inside IR35 for a 6 months contract based remote. SC Clearance is an essential requirement for this role, as a minimum you must be willing & eligible to undergo checks. Please note, due to the exceptional requirements of this position (short-term nature of this role and speed at which we require a postholder in situ) preference may be given to candidates who meet all of the essential criteria and hold active SC clearance. As a Technical Architect, your main responsibilities will be:. Tech stack experience to be in line with HMPPS requirements for architecture profession eg platforms, software architecture, security and governance.. AWS. Kubernetes. Java/Kotlin + Spring Boot. TypeScript + Node.js + Express.js. Able cover technical advisory, direction and governance aspects.. Able to Align teams with and feedback into technical strategy.. Comfortable working across other teams as a large part of these services relies on integrations.. Desirable: prior experience in HMPPS Digital systems.
