Senior Network and Cloud Engineer - London (City) | Financial Services | Hybrid (3 days on-site)

An established organisation is seeking a Senior Network and Cloud Engineer to support and enhance its core infrastructure, with a strong focus on enterprise networking and Azure cloud environments.

Key Experience

* Extensive hands-on experience across network and cloud engineering

* Advanced capability within Microsoft Azure environments

* Strong knowledge of networking protocols including BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VLANs, and QoS

* Proven experience managing Firewalls and network security controls

* Solid understanding of security frameworks, including Zero Trust

* Background in complex, high-availability environments

* Experience gained outside of financial services is also welcomed Technical Capability

* Scripting and automation using PowerShell, Python, or Bash

* Exposure to Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or Bicep Personal Profile

* Comfortable handling multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting

* Methodical and analytical approach to problem solving

* Strong communication skills, able to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

* Experience mentoring or supporting junior engineers across wider teams
