We're seeking an experienced Microsoft 365 Support Subject Matter Expert to provide 2nd and 3rd line technical support across a busy enterprise environment. Higher-education experience is advantageous but not essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver advanced M365 administration and troubleshooting, including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and security/compliance features.

  • Provide 2nd & 3rd line support, diagnosing and resolving complex issues escalated from the service desk.

  • Implement and maintain governance, security, and best practices across the M365 platform.

  • Support upgrades, integrations, and user adoption initiatives, collaborating with infrastructure and security teams.

  • Create and maintain documentation and knowledge articles to enhance first-line resolution.

Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience supporting and administering Microsoft 365 / O365 environments.

  • Strong knowledge of Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, Intune, and Azure AD.

  • Background in 2nd/3rd line IT support within medium-to-large organisations.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to manage incidents through to resolution.

  • Higher-education sector experience is a plus but not required.
