Junior Architect 6 months Remote - some travel to Telford, Manchester & London £670 per day inside ir35 - Umbrella only Active SC cleared or eligible candidates will be considered Role overview: Junior Architect to support a large migration programme, working closely with Lead Architects to design and deliver cloud based solutions. The role involves contributing to architecture design documents, analysing data to derive appropriate cloud migration approaches, and supporting the development of end to end technical designs. The Junior Architect will assist with troubleshooting during build activities and provide hands on support during migration cutovers, helping resolve issues and ensuring smooth execution. This position is ideal for someone looking to grow into a Lead Architect role, with opportunities to learn from senior architects, take increasing ownership of design work, and develop broader architectural leadership skills. Strong analytical ability, cloud technology understandingSkills/Experience:

  • Experience contributing and writing designs, preferably for migrations
  • Experience working in a multi-supplier environment

Nice to have:

  • Experience with migrations to either AWS, private cloud or on-premise environments
  • Experience of either network architectures, Solaris/AIX, Stromasys, Integration Platforms/ESBs, Directory Services
  • Experience creating reference architectures, conducting architecture impact analysis and creating artefacts to support architectural decisions
