On behalf of Acas, we are looking for an IT Service Transition Manager (Outside IR35) for a 3 month contract based REMOTELY with occasional visits to London. Acas is and independent public body that provides free and impartial advice to employers, employees and their representatives on employment rights, best practice and policies and resolving workplace conflict. As an IT Service Transition Manager, the role will involve: Service Acceptance analysis - Responsible for coordinating across IT operations and agreement of acceptance criteria for any changes within the area, validating changes against criteria, gathering evidence, and presenting to stakeholders to make informed decisions. Service readiness analysis - Responsible for ensuring testing of products and accountable for product/application and checking that security criteria has been met. Service Acceptance manager - Responsible for accepting products and determining if they are fit for purpose and assess the readiness against agreed service acceptance criteria. Make recommendations for go-live, early life support and service acceptance, ensuring acceptance criteria are understood by the wider IT operations Lead Transition Management - Responsible for planning and coordination of resources to ensure that services are effectively transitioned into live operation Change Management - Responsible for all changes to the DDaT Services Portfolio that are implemented through Change Enablement process and managed throughout their life cycle Change Support - Responsible for providing a single focal point for changes to production, development and testing platforms, minimising the probability of conflicting changes and potential disruption to the business services Change Governance - Responsible for providing assurance that each release package is designed and governed by Request for Change and reviewed via the Change Advisory Board. Change Implementation - responsible for post implementation reviews, regular reviews and audit of processes to ensure they are adopted consistently.
