Senior Java Engineer - Cash Equities

Permanent Hybrid - 2 Days per week on site in London Negotiable Salary

We're partnering with a Tier 1 Investment Bank to recruit an experienced Senior Java Engineer to join its Cash Equities Technology team.

This is an opportunity to work on enterprise-scale Middle Office applications and services that support business-critical trading operations within a global engineering environment.

As a Senior Java Engineer, you'll be responsible for designing, developing and supporting high-performance applications, working closely with engineering teams and business stakeholders to deliver robust, scalable solutions.

• Strong Core Java development

• Strong understanding of design patterns
• Linux development
• Enterprise-scale application development
• Production support within a business-critical environment
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

• Cash Equities or Capital Markets
• Investment Banking technology
• C++
• C#
• Agile delivery methodologies
• Java certification

You'll be an experienced Java Engineer with a proven track record of delivering complex enterprise applications. You'll be comfortable working in production support environments and collaborating with both technical teams and business stakeholders.

Experience within Cash Equities, Prime Brokerage, Financing, Risk or Market Data technology teams in an investment banking environment would be highly advantageous.
