Applications Service Lead | Insurance | London (Hybrid) | £75,000

We're hiring an Applications Service Lead to take ownership of core underwriting and claims systems within a London Market environment.

This role sits between the business, vendors and engineering teams, focused on keeping applications stable, resolving incidents effectively and improving service performance.

Key focus areas:

  • BAU support across insurance platforms (PAS, claims, document systems)
  • Major incident coordination and issue resolution
  • Working with vendors and internal teams to investigate and fix problems
  • Managing releases, defects and change via Azure DevOps
  • Ensuring applications are performing as expected in a live environment

We're looking for someone who:

  • Has experience supporting or owning insurance applications
  • Is comfortable working with vendors and offshore teams
  • Can understand issues at application level (data, integrations, system behaviour)
  • Has worked with tools like ServiceNow and Azure DevOps

London Market experience is preferred. Exposure to platforms such as Eclipse, Sequel or Guidewire is beneficial but not essential.
