Location - Hybrid (Multiple sites)

IR35 - Inside (Must use an umbrella company)

We're looking for an influential Head of SHEQ to lead our Health & Safety strategy across both field and office environments. This senior role offers significant accountability, visibility, and the opportunity to embed a true safety-first culture.

What You'll Do

. Lead the design and delivery of H&S strategy across the organisation. Own all policies, procedures, and in-life monitoring. Drive performance against key H&S KPIs. Manage external audits and regulatory compliance. Identify, mitigate and monitor all H&S risks. Coach leaders to build strong safety capability. Champion a safety-first culture through engagement and awareness

What Success Looks Like

. 95%+ compliance in field audits. 98% CDM and fire-stopping compliance. Clear risk mitigation plans with measurable KPIs. Strong performance in all external audits

About You

. IOSH Leading Safety (or equivalent). Strong experience influencing exec and board stakeholders. Proven leadership of managers and operational teams. Excellent communicator with strong governance and influencing skills. Ideally from a Telco, Manufacturing, Utilities, or Construction background
