The Role

As Head Chef, you'll lead a brigade of 10 chefs, ensuring a seamless operation across both retail food outlets and hospitality services. Reporting directly to the Executive Chef, you'll be a key player in shaping the food offer, driving innovation, maintaining quality, and nurturing team development in this vibrant, fast-paced setting.

This is a hands-on leadership role perfect for someone with creativity, strong organisation, and the ability to inspire a team.

What You'll Do:

• Lead day-to-day kitchen operations across both retail and hospitality
• Develop and deliver seasonal, innovative menus aligned with client expectations
• Manage, mentor and support a team of 10 chefs to deliver excellence every day
• Collaborate closely with the Executive Chef on strategy, menu design and standards
• Uphold the highest food safety and hygiene standards
• Maintain budgetary control and minimise food waste
• Ensure consistency and quality across all food offerings

About You:

• Proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a similar high-volume environment
• Strong background in both hospitality and retail catering
• Inspirational team leader with a hands-on approach
• Passion for food innovation and high-quality presentation
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• Knowledge of current food trends and dietary requirements
• Experience in contract catering is highly desirable
