With a strong reputation in high-risk industries including nuclear, defence, industrial, and commercial sectors, they are looking for a Principal Fire Safety Engineer to join their Fire Safety Team. Based from one of their key UK offices with hybrid working, this role offers the opportunity to lead complex fire engineering projects, manage teams, and shape fire safety strategies for nationally significant infrastructure. The Principal Fire Safety Engineer will be responsible for: - Leading the delivery of technical fire engineering and safety projects across high-risk environments. - Managing project teams and providing technical oversight and quality assurance. - Developing bespoke fire safety strategies and engaging with key stakeholders and regulators. - Supporting business development through proposals, client engagement, and strategic input. - Mentoring and line managing junior engineers to support their professional growth. The Principal Fire Safety Engineer will have: - Experience managing medium to large-scale fire engineering projects. - A degree in Fire Engineering or a related engineering discipline. - Strong knowledge of UK fire safety regulations and standards (e.g. Approved Document B, BS 9999, PD 7974). - Demonstrated leadership in consultancy or project-based environments. - Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and team management skills.
