We are seeking experienced Energy Underwriters to join a leading Energy team specialising in Upstream and Midstream risks.

Key responsibilities

• Underwrite Upstream & Midstream Energy portfolio to ensure profitability and growth.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders and broker counterparts.
• Make data-driven underwriting decisions through account assessments and portfolio analysis.
• Monitor aggregates and catastrophe exposure, ensuring accurate data capture and compliance.
• Collaborate efficiently within established workflows to support business objectives.

Skills & experience

The ideal candidate will be highly motivated with experience in the Energy market.

• Proven experience in the insurance industry, ideally within the Upstream or Midstream Energy sector.
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
• A collaborative team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Power BI for portfolio analysis.
• Experience with Catastrophe and Aggregation Management software is advantageous.
• CII qualification (or progress towards it) preferred.
