The Role
We have an exciting new opportunity for a Position Management Product Manager to join Robert Walters as a Consultant.
As a consultant, you will benefit from permanent employment with Robert Walters and will be deployed on an assignment with one of our clients, a large US investment bank, in London. In return we will provide you with the opportunity to develop your skills with ongoing training and professional support. In this role, you will lead the transformation of position management as a Product Manager in our Core HR Data team, driving innovation, process excellence, and data-driven decision-making in a dynamic, global environment.
What you'll do:
- As a Product Manager for Workforce Management, you will own the end-to-end product strategy and execution for position management. You will partner with HR, Finance, Technology, and business leaders to deliver scalable, resilient, and high-quality solutions that support the firm's evolving needs. You will champion the voice of the customer, drive process re-engineering, and ensure alignment with regulatory and business requirements.
- Define and execute the product vision and strategy for position management, aligned with business goals and regulations, and communicate progress and outcomes to leadership and stakeholders.
- Lead phased rollouts-including pilots, workflow improvements, and HR-Finance system integrations-while managing the product backlog, prioritizing features, and promoting discovery-driven product practices.
- Collaborate with HR, Finance, F&BM, and Technology to gather requirements, solve process issues, and deliver integrated solutions.
- Ensure high-quality, secure, and well-managed data for position management processes.
- Drive process simplification, automation, and change management, including templates, notification builds, and workflow updates.
- Provide analytics and reporting to guide decision-making and measure product impact, while championing user experience through feedback-driven iterations.
- Lead cross-functional teams in an agile environment, fostering innovation and continuous improvement.
What you bring:
- 5+ years in product management, HR tech, or related fields.
- Proven experience leading large-scale product initiatives, preferably in HR/position management.
- Strong knowledge of product life cycle, design thinking, and data analytics.
- Experience with HR systems (eg, Oracle HCM Cloud) and process re-engineering.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills.
- Ability to manage complex projects, multiple priorities, and cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and workflow adoption.
- Desirable Qualification: Experience in global, matrixed organizations with deep knowledge of position management, workforce planning, HR data architecture, regulatory compliance, and technology integration and automation projects.
