We are looking to recruit a Global Record to Report Lead for a global software company. My client are undergoing a global finance transformation, centred around a NetSuite implementation.
This is an initial 6 month contract working 2/3 days a week onsite in Central London.
This role will take ownership of the end-to-end Record to Report process, with a focus on defining and embedding a scalable global framework. The current environment is fragmented, with inconsistencies across close, consolidation and reporting processes, and requires a hands-on individual to drive meaningful change.
This is not a design-only role. You will be expected to operate as a "doer", working closely with finance teams to standardise processes, improve reporting accuracy and ensure adoption across multiple regions.
Key responsibilities:
- Define and implement a global Record to Report framework across multiple regions
- Identify inefficiencies across general ledger, close, consolidation and reporting processes
- Lead NetSuite process design and optimisation for Record to Report
- Drive improvements in close cycles, reporting accuracy and financial controls
- Standardise chart of accounts and reporting structures across the organisation
- Work closely with Finance teams, including controllership and audit functions
- Influence stakeholders and drive adoption across global teams
Key experience:
- Proven experience leading Record to Report transformation within complex organisations
- Strong understanding of general ledger, close, consolidation and group reporting environments
- Experience working within structured financial reporting and control frameworks
- Experience working on ERP implementations, ideally NetSuite
- Ability to operate in ambiguous environments and drive change without heavy support
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
- Hands-on approach with a focus on delivery and outcomes
