About the RoleWe are seeking a seasoned Executive Search Researcher to join our team and work exclusively with a Tier 1 bank within their Global Banking and Markets division. In this role, you will proactively build market maps and long lists for key financial markets areas. This is a strategic initiative aimed at reducing dependency on external search firms, streamlining recruitment processes, and aligning with the bank's 2025 vision and DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) strategy.
This role involves high-touch, low-volume talent acquisition, focusing on proactively identifying skill gaps, creating talent pipelines, and building out diverse and inclusive talent pools for future business needs. You will be a trusted partner to senior stakeholders, providing expertise in market mapping and executive search.
Key Responsibilities- Market Mapping: Conduct detailed market research and deliver professional shortlists to senior stakeholders.
- Talent Pool Development: Build proactive, diverse, and inclusive talent pools to address future capability needs.
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with senior business leaders (e.g., MDs and stakeholders) to align talent strategies with business goals.
- Executive Search: Execute high-level searches and manage the end-to-end process for niche roles within the Tier 1 bank.
- Strategic Support: Align recruitment efforts with the bank's people and inclusion agendas for 2025, focusing on sales, trading, and other niche pockets.
- Process Optimization: Limit the need for third-party agencies by providing a seamless in-house search experience.
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal stakeholders to validate talent mapping requests, ensuring maximum efficiency.
- Executive Search Background: Experience in either search firms or in-house executive recruitment.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Proven ability to partner with and influence senior stakeholders.
- Market Research Skills: Expertise in building comprehensive market maps and presenting them professionally.
- Project Management: Strong organizational skills to manage complex talent mapping exercises.
