We currently have an exciting entry-level opportunity for a Claims Technician based in London, working with a leading speciality insurer.

This role is part of the Professional Indemnity Claims team, working closely with underwriters to manage international claims against professionals including solicitors, insurance brokers, actuaries, patent agents, construction professionals, and other financial services specialists.

Key responsibilities

• Support the team in managing claims, TPAs, and service providers.
• Handle lower-value Professional Indemnity claims
• Work with managing agents and service providers across multiple jurisdictions.
• Support Claims Managers with the Claims Business Plan.
• Maintain strong relationships with underwriting, actuarial, and reinsurance teams and manage broker engagement.

Skills & experience

There is no need to have experience in any of the lines of business or within claims generally.

• Demonstrate strong written and spoken communication skills.
• Demonstrate strong team work.
• Possess strong independent organisational skills.
• Have good IT (Microsoft Office) skills, including Word, Excel, Access and Outlook
