Claims Insights Lead

We're supporting a leading global specialty insurer in hiring a Claims Insights Lead/Claims BI Product Owner to build out a new business-facing service and drive the delivery of Claims reporting and analytics. Sitting within a high-impact portfolio analytics team, you'll own end-to-end BI delivery, manage a small team, and partner closely with Claims leadership to improve operational decision-making through high-quality data products.

Responsibilities

• Act as Claims BI Product Owner, owning backlog, prioritisation, and delivery roadmap
• Lead end-to-end delivery of analytical solutions (Power BI dashboards, datasets, reports)
• Engage stakeholders to gather requirements and translate into actionable insights
• Manage and mentor a small team, setting delivery and quality standards
• Drive data quality, governance, and collaboration with data engineering teams

Requirements

• Strong experience delivering BI/MI solutions within Insurance (Claims experience beneficial)
• Proven stakeholder management, including senior leadership engagement
• Experience leading or mentoring analysts or ambition to do so
• Knowledge of Power BI and the use of SQL and DAX (deep Scripting ability not required)
• Experience working in Agile environments and managing delivery backlogs
