An opportunity has arisen at this city based insurance company for an Accounts Assistant to join for an initial six months Fixed Term Contract. This is a broad accounting role with responsibilities including:

• Process of all employee expenses
• Managing insurance payments including claims, fee and premium returns
• Posting journals including insurance transactions and investments
• Review monthly aged debtors
• Reconciliations including bank accounts and statements
• Cash management and production of monthly reports
• Bank transfers
• Expense analysis of spend against budget

This role would suit someone with proven experience in double entry bookkeeping gained within Insurance or Financial Services.
