Saturday 26 September
Families of SEND children in the Slough, Windsor and Maidenhead areas are being invited to experience the magic of Circus Starr, the award-winning show that brings inclusive and accessible entertainment to families that may otherwise miss out.
This year's show features a 'Circus under the sea' theme and families can expect to see Jugglers, BMX trickery LED Sensory acts and show favourites, the Starr Squad. The show is created to relaxed theatre guidelines, so families are assured of no flashing lights or loud noises, considered and controlled lighting and special attention paid to sensory triggers. The show also features a British Sign Language interpreter at each show and an Accessoloo, a specially adapted changing places station, providing extra comfort for those that need it.
Thanks to the support of local businesses and year-round fundraising by Circus Starr, families of disabled and neurodivergent children can get tickets free of charge for the family. Families are invited to apply on the website at circus-starr.org.uk Tickets are limited and are available on a first come, first serve basis.
The show takes place at Furze Platt School, Maidenhead on Saturday 26th September. Shows take place at 1.30pm and 4pm.
