This is not your typical enforcement role. You ll be handling complex and sensitive situations, executing warrants, and addressing persistent rates evasion with professionalism and integrity. What you will be doing:?

  • Deliver enforcement actions including Liability Orders and High Court Writs, with a focus on persistent evaders and high-profile cases.
  • Independently manage a diverse caseload, using investigative techniques to locate individuals, assess situations, and secure payments or recover goods.
  • Conduct in-person visits and sensitive conversations, including with vulnerable individuals, using empathy and professionalism to defuse conflict and reach constructive resolutions.
  • Complete accurate documentation, manage payment collections, and adhere to all regulatory and procedural standards.
  • Recognise and respond to sophisticated non-compliance and evasion strategies with proactive, evidence-based solutions.
  • Carry out visits during early mornings, some evenings, and occasional weekends. Travel and overnight stays may be required depending on operational demand.

What we are looking for:?

  • Full UK Manual Driving Licence: Essential for this field-based role.
  • Confident, calm, and articulate when dealing with the public especially under pressure.
  • An understanding and empathetic approach when dealing with vulnerable individuals or sensitive scenarios.
  • Able to think clearly and act responsibly in the moment, with minimal supervision in field-based environments.
  • Accurate in reporting, record-keeping, and handling financial transactions or sensitive data.
  • A composed, mature, and adaptable attitude, with the ability to handle pressure and maintain focus.

New starters will be subject to clearance through the Disclosure and Barring Service and a County Court Judgment check. In addition, the post holder is expected to keep the Company updated if their personal circumstances change.
