Job Purpose

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in change management to lead a portfolio of business and organisational change projects. You will be responsible for delivering complex transformation initiatives that align with strategic institutional goals, ensuring successful outcomes and tangible benefits.

Key Responsibilities

Project Delivery

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of strategic projects, with a focus on organisational and business change.
  • Manage project scope, resources, budgets, risks, and timelines in accordance with governance frameworks.
  • Ensure rigorous planning, reporting, and monitoring against project baselines.
  • Maintain effective change control and decision-making processes across all project stages.

Change Management Integration

  • Work closely with Change Managers and HR leads to ensure staff and stakeholders are supported throughout periods of transition.
  • Apply change management principles and tools to influence adoption, communication, and training strategies.
  • Support culture change, business process redesign, and readiness activities for large-scale initiatives.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Build and manage strong relationships with senior stakeholders, sponsors, and cross-functional teams.
  • Facilitate workshops, decision-making forums, and engagement plans to ensure buy-in and alignment.
  • Act as a key liaison between technical delivery teams and business users.

Continuous Improvement

  • Promote and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement across the institution.
  • Share lessons learned and best practices in both project and change management.

Person Specification

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience delivering organisational and business change projects
  • Strong understanding of project governance, risk, and change control
  • Demonstrable ability to manage full project lifecycles (initiation to closure)
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Ability to influence and collaborate across multiple levels of an organisation
  • Strong planning, budgeting, and resource management skills
  • Familiarity with change management principles (e.g., ADKAR, Kotter) - desirable

Qualifications:

  • Degree or equivalent professional experience
  • Project management certification (e.g., PRINCE2, Agile, APM)

The role involves sourcing goods and services at competitive prices, ensuring on-time delivery, and maintaining high quality standards.
