Oversee mandatory reporting processes and verify compliance across operations

The role is paying up to £65,000 basic + discretionary bonus.Let's talk about the role, it involves:Key account management of our existing supplier network, understanding spend, maximising value, and reducing wasteConsolidation of suppliers - evaluating regional and central business needs and working to consolidate our supplier list, building on successful relationships, weeding out underperformers, and seeking new partnership opportunitiesWorking closely with our Finance team to track costs, understand billing, resolve barriers to payment or resolutionRegular communication with our regional managers and other key stakeholders to ensure an agile approach to managing and supporting the business, fulfilling a role as trusted expert and advisorEnsure optimised process, harmonised standards, consistent pricing, and commitment to important SLAsPrepare and present regular reporting on procurement activities, cost saving, and supplier performanceAssisting in our acquisition activity to help integrate new firms into the business, reviewing existing contract schedules and consolidating into our existing service provision frameworkMaintaining key information and necessary compliance requirements and documentationUnderstanding and contributing to a net a zero vision, understanding supply chains, ethical sourcing, and the impact on our ESG positionWe're not just looking for someone who fits our team; we want to be a good fit for you, too!
