A leading legal practice based in London is seeking an experienced Paralegal to join their busy property team, with a focus on both commercial and residential property transactions. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated Paralegal looking to take the next step in their legal career within a supportive and professional environment. The successful Paralegal will be working on a varied caseload and gaining hands-on experience across a wide range of property matters.

The firm is known for its strong reputation in the London market, and this role would suit a Paralegal who has previously worked in a similar setting and is keen to develop their knowledge in property law. The ideal Paralegal will have experience handling contracts, preparing documentation for sales and purchases, and assisting fee earners on complex property deals. Exposure to both commercial leases and residential conveyancing is essential for this role.

The Paralegal's role

The Paralegal will support senior solicitors and partners in all aspects of commercial and residential property transactions. Responsibilities will include drafting and reviewing legal documents, carrying out due diligence, undertaking searches, preparing Land Registry applications, and liaising with clients and third parties.

You'll also be expected to manage elements of your own caseload under supervision, contribute to case progression, and assist with post-completion matters. This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently to meet deadlines.

The Paralegal

To be considered for this Paralegal role, you must have:

  • A minimum of 12 months' experience working as a Paralegal within property law (commercial and residential)

  • A law degree or equivalent qualification (e.g. CILEx Level 3 or above)

  • Experience with conveyancing processes and familiarity with legal documentation

  • Proficiency in using legal software and case management systems

  • A proactive and organised approach to managing workload
