Legal Secondee - JP Morgan - London - 5 months contract - Onsite - PAYEWe are seeking a highly motivated Legal Secondee to join JP Morgan on a 5-month contract in London to focus on a mid-cap lending client portfolio. For this role, we are seeking a lawyer/solicitor with banking and finance experience, specialising in mid-cap and leveraged finance loan documentation, to join the Global Corporate Bank legal team.What You'll Do* Advise internal stakeholders on bilateral and syndicated lending transactions across mid-cap investment grade, mid-cap leveraged finance, and innovation economy* Negotiate and draft client-facing loan documentation for a broad range of financing transactions* Review and provide guidance on external legal and regulatory advice to the business and internal legal stakeholders* Instruct, manage, and coordinate external counsel to support effective transaction execution and risk management* Deliver clear, pragmatic legal advice to functional partners and business teams, while collaborating closely with legal colleagues to ensure consistent, high-quality supportWhat You Bring* Qualified lawyer/solicitor with relevant experience at a leading law firm and/or within the banking sector* Strong legal background in banking and finance* Proven experience drafting and negotiating loan documentation across a range of financing structures* Demonstrated expertise in contract documentation review, analysis, and risk assessment* Practical understanding of the legal, regulatory, and commercial considerations relevant to mid-cap lending and leveraged financeWhat's NextIf you are ready to take the next step, apply now!
