  • Delivering safe, quality care for patients during their perioperative phase.
  • Leading and managing a team, coordinating staff training needs and resources.
  • Assisting in the management and organisation of care provision within the Operating Department.
  • Contributing to quality improvement initiatives.
  • Developing and enhancing the skills and knowledge of yourself and others.
  • Applying and promoting best evidence-based practices.

The ideal candidate for the Lead Theatre Practitioner - Scrub role should have:
  • Registered Practitioner status with NMC or HCPC registration.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in coordination, ordering, and mentoring.
  • Surgical First assistant certificate desirable.
  • ILS and Mentorship qualification.
  • Experience in ENT, General surgery, and Neuro preferred.
