Corporate Development Director - Mergers and Acquisitions - up to £140,000 and bonus

The Ashdown Group have been engaged by a leading data services organisation to assist them in their search for a Mergers and Acquisitions focussed Corporate Development Director. Offered on a hybrid working

basis (2 days in London and 3 days working remotely)

As the Corporate Development Director, you will lead all aspects of mergers and acquisitions (M&A) activity, driving growth through strategic partnerships and acquisitions.

Areas of responsibility will include:

• Opportunity Identification

• Deal Sourcing -

• Due Diligence - ( financial, operational, legal, and regulatory aspects of transactions)

• Negotiation and Deal Structuring

• Stakeholder Management -

• Post-Merger Integration

Additionally you ll play a central role in shaping the future direction and competitive position of the organisation, with the autonomy to influence at a senior level.

To be successful in this role, you must have:

• Significant experience of end-to-end mergers and acquisitions lifecycle. Ideally with insight/knowledge of GRC, Training & Education and Data & Information categories within the broader Governance, Risk and Compliance sector.

• Qualifications such as ACCA/ CFA/ FRM/ MBA. - with Legal or deal experience.

• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to evaluate financial and operational performance metrics.

• Strong negotiation skills, with demonstrable experience of closing complex deals.

• Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders simultaneously.
