Matchtech is currently seeking a skilled Site Agent to oversee highway projects in London. This contract role focuses on Transport for London (TFL) schemes, including road upgrades and cycleway installations.
Key Responsibilities:- Managing and supervising the day-to-day operations on TFL highway projects
- Ensuring that all work is carried out in accordance with project plans and specifications
- Coordinating with project teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery
- Monitoring project progress and maintaining project documentation
- Conducting regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
- Providing technical guidance and support to on-site personnel
- Reporting on project status to senior management
- Facilitating effective communication and problem-solving on-site
- Experience in managing highway projects, particularly within the HTP sector
- Strong understanding of TFL schemes and project requirements
- Proven ability to supervise and coordinate multiple on-site activities
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Solid knowledge of health and safety regulations and quality control standards
