Interpret and assess contractual, technical, legal, and regulatory information to identify risks and opportunities. Conduct heat network feasibility studies, including heat demand analysis, energy centre design, and stakeholder engagement. Use GIS software to map and optimise heat network layouts. Develop and refine techno-economic models to assess commercial viability, requiring high proficiency in Excel. Engage with internal and external stakeholders, including engineers, consultants, clients, and regulatory bodies. Prepare clear and concise project proposals, bids, and grant applications. Work closely with estimating and operations teams to ensure alignment between project costs and objectives. Monitor energy market trends, regulatory updates, and policy developments impacting heat networks. Support procurement, contract negotiations, and funding applications for new and existing heat network projects.Professional qualificationsWe are looking for someone with the following: An Engineering Degree with a strong academic performance 2 - 5 years' experience in heat networks, energy infrastructure or a related field Technical and commercial experience in energy infrastructure projects. Expose to GIS software for spatial analysis and network planning. Familiarity with the full project lifecycle, from feasibility to execution.
