Mechanical Shift Engineer City of London Up to £53,000

A leading FM provider is seeking a skilled Mechanical Shift Engineer to join their team on a continental shift at a high-specification commercial site in the City of London. This is a static role focused on mechanical and general building services maintenance.

Responsibilities for the Mechanical Shift Engineer:

  • Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on mechanical and HVAC systems

  • Perform fault finding, repairs, and plant room checks across key assets

  • Support statutory compliance tasks (e.g. water treatment, pressure systems, ventilation)

Requirements for the Mechanical Shift Engineer:

  • Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC, or Plumbing (or equivalent)

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a mechanically-biased building services role

  • Strong understanding of health & safety and statutory compliance

  • Knowledge of pumps, motors, valves, AHUs, FCUs, and water systems
