An exciting opportunity to join an established FM service provider in Central London has arisen.
GH Engage are currently recruiting an Estimator to work within a growing service provider. The ideal candidate would live in commuting distance to Central London and be happy to travel to sites.
The successful candidate will be supporting the pre-contract and delivery teams in the creation and delivery of bids & pricing.
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of SFG20 and have a minimum of 2 years experience in a similar position.
This position would be ideal for an Estimator currently in a similar position who is keen on training and a new opportunity. The successful candidate will have experience within SFG20 and a previous technical background. In return the company are offering a salary up to 75,000 with a Car Allowance, discretionary bonus, training and working from home.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Support the pre-contract and delivery teams in the creation and delivery of bid and pricing strategies for mobile and static maintenance
- Carry out thorough labour loads against SFG20 and or client specifications.
- Completing all works to a high standard
- To contribute to bid teams formed at pre-contract stage and renewal when applicable.
- To provide technical input to the ongoing maintenance of the company bid model templates to ensure they are up to date in respect of labour constants, labour rates and other cost data items.
- To provide financial input on all bids from tender stage through to mobilisation and handover, whilst achieving the required standards and quality.
- Review subcontract requirements and provide the procurement team with sufficient detail to obtain quotations
- Identify ways to solution commercial options via alternative delivery models
- Attend sites to conduct pre-tender site familiarisation, asset collection and verification of contract and sub-contractor requirements.
- Demonstrate a strong work ethic by prioritising and organising work to ensure bid models are produced by the specified deadlines.
- Supporting with any technical questions
- Review each tender specification in detail to identify all deliverables to ensure our pricing solution meets with the client/consultant requirements
- Review, analyse and amend the contract bid models in line with contract requirements for renewals and extensions
Required Skills:
- Minimum of 2 years experience within a similar role
- Commercial awareness of current industry market rates
- Providing technical support to administration staff as required.
- Strong estimating experience of M&E hard services within the Facilities Management industry Knowledge of industry used CAFM/CRM systems
- Technical qualifications in Electrical or Mechanical
