Attention all Design Managers!

We are looking for a Design Manager to join a leading electrical contractor in a long-term contract position. As the successful candidate you will be required to work on a hybrid basis (3 days a week) from our clients Stratford office. You will be working on an exciting rail project, focusing on electrical installation designs.

-Competitive day rate ranging from 450- 550 (depending on experience).

-Hybrid working arrangement.

Key Responsibilities:

-Lead and deliver electrical designs from concept to completion, including CDP, detailed design, and D&B packages.

-Develop and coordinate BIM/CAD designs using point-cloud surveys and value engineering techniques.

-Oversee circuit design, load calculations, and integration of power, lighting, life-safety, security, and data systems.

-Ensure compliance with industry standards (ISO 9001, NICEIC), manage submittals, support construction, and drive design innovation.

What we are looking for:

-Rail experience preferred but not essential.

-Must have recent design experience in a Design Manager position.

-Proficient in BIM/CAD, including point-cloud surveys and 3D modelling.

-Solid knowledge of regulations and standards (NICEIC, ISO 9001, H&S, wiring regs).

-Excellent communicator with a detail-focused, and process-driven approach.
