We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Critical Services Technician to join our dynamic shift team. In this pivotal role, you will play a key part in ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of critical building services, supporting our clients and colleagues to deliver best-in-class facilities management.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the shift team in the provision of high-quality service delivery
Operate and monitor the Building Management System (BMS) on a daily basis
Undertake and maintain day-to-day Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) records
Carry out general housekeeping duties to ensure a safe and compliant working environment
Promote and instill best working practices across all activities
Ensure full compliance with all Health & Safety policies and procedures
Proactively support colleagues, fostering motivation and commitment to the client, contract, and company
Take a hands-on, solution-focused approach to resolve day-to-day operational issues
Monitor and review permits and maintenance working practices to ensure standards are upheld
Fully review, understand, and be ready to act on all emergency procedures
Liaise effectively with tenants and clients at all levels
Collaborate closely with other internal departments to ensure seamless service delivery
Understand and demonstrate company values and behaviours at all times
Time-served with a minimum academic qualification in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
Several years of relevant experience, including time in a similar role within a critical environment
Strong communication and customer service skills
Self-motivated with a positive, proactive "Can do" attitude
Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team and independently
Must successfully complete and pass Sterling background checks as part of the hiring process
