Our client, a leading structural engineering organisation, are looking for a seasoned Civil Drainage Engineer to join their dynamic team on a permanent basis. With this professional opportunity, the successful candidate will be required to work three days a week, on a hybrid basis, from their main London office. -Competitive salary of 40,000- 60,000 (depending on experience).

Responsibilities:
-Produce and develop detailed designs for drainage systems across a variety of Commercial and Residential projects, ensuring consistency and quality.
-Compose strategies, flood risk assessments and documentation, planning and approval reports, and calculations for drainage systems.
-Use software tools, such as Civil3D, Causeway flow, AutoCAD, and InfoDrainage, to create concise and in-depth calculations and designs.
-Build rapport with clients, teams of professionals, and regulatory bodies to ensure that all works comply with key project and regulatory standards and requirements.
-Attend site visits and inspections, ensuring that designs are being integrated effectively, whilst also resolving any issues or concerns that may arise.
-Nurture innovation, sustainability, and cost efficiency across all drainage solutions, throughout the project's lifecycle.
Requirements:
-Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Civil and/or Environmental Engineering, or a related field, ideally with, or working towards, a chartered status.
-Extensive experience as a Civil Drainage Engineer, or a similar role, working predominantly on drainage systems across Commercial and Residential projects.
-Strong understanding with the use of relevant software tools, such as Civil3D, InfoDrainage, Causeway flow, and AutoCAD.
-Solid grasp of current UK drainage standards, best practices, and SuDS.
-Excellent communication skills, with a problem-solving mindset and a willingness to work collaboratively with other professionals.
