A diverse, Ofsted good' rated mainstream Primary School based in Camden is seeking a Learning Support Assistant, to start working with them as soon as possible and will pay up to 550 per week.You will be working 1:1 with a year 6 pupil diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder on a full-time basis. The school is easily accessible with strong transport links across the area. Leaders within the school work closely with SEND pupils and their families to understand each pupils individual needs. The nine core values allow the staff to commit to ensuring each child's time at school is inspiring and productive. The role is temporary to permanent, with the first 12 weeks working through Horizon Teachers and moving to a permanent position with the school until the end of the academic year. - Previous experience working within a Primary School setting
- Experience working and supporting individuals with ASD is desirable, but not essential
- Having a positive and resilient attitude
- Confidence and an ability to use your initiative to best support the students
