As an IT Support Engineer, you ll play a vital role in keeping the school s technology running smoothly, ensuring staff and students can achieve their best every day.

Responsibilities:

• Provide first-line technical support to staff and students

• Maintain and troubleshoot IT hardware, software and network systems

• Set up new equipment and ensure all IT resources are fully operational

• Support the use of interactive technologies and classroom devices

• Work closely with the IT Manager to deliver projects and upgrades

• Keep clear records of support requests and completed tasks

• Maintain security and data protection standards within the school

Requirements:

• Previous experience working as an IT Support Engineer, ideally in a school or educational setting

• Strong knowledge of Windows OS, network troubleshooting and common software applications

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Strong communication skills to work effectively with staff and students

• Relevant IT qualification or certification (e.g. CompTIA, Microsoft Certified) is desirable
