We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a Tier 1 contractor working on a major civils infrastructure project in Central London. This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to play a leading role in delivering a high-profile and complex project in one of the most dynamic locations in the world.

About the role of Senior Quantity Surveyor:

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will take charge of managing the financial and contractual elements of this significant civils infrastructure project. This role is perfect for a Senior Quantity Surveyor looking to make a real impact while working on challenging and technically demanding projects in Central London.

Responsibilities for Senior Quantity Surveyor:

  • Managing project budgets, costs, and financial forecasting
  • Administering contracts and ensuring compliance with NEC or other relevant frameworks
  • Leading the preparation and negotiation of final accounts
  • Collaborating with the project team to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery
  • Conducting regular site visits to monitor progress and address any cost-related issues
  • Providing mentorship and guidance to junior team members

Requirements for Senior Quantity Surveyor:

  • Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor, ideally within the civils or infrastructure sector
  • Strong knowledge of NEC contracts and contract administration
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining strong collaboration with the project team
  • A proactive and detail-oriented approach to managing costs and contracts
