We are seeking an experienced Senior Planner to join a Tier 1 contractor working on a major civils infrastructure project in Central London. This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Planner to take a leading role in delivering a high-profile and technically challenging project in the heart of the city.

About the role of Senior Planner:

As a Senior Planner, you will be responsible for managing the planning and scheduling of all phases of this significant infrastructure project. This role is perfect for a Senior Planner with a strong background in the infrastructure sector, looking to make a real impact in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities for Senior Planner:

  • Developing and maintaining complex project schedules and programmes
  • Monitoring progress, identifying delays, and implementing mitigation strategies
  • Collaborating with the project team to ensure timely and efficient delivery
  • Conducting site visits to assess progress and alignment with the project schedule
  • Preparing detailed planning reports and presenting updates to stakeholders
  • Mentoring and supporting junior members of the planning team

Requirements for Senior Planner:

  • Proven experience as a Senior Planner, ideally within the civils or infrastructure sector
  • Expertise in planning software such as Primavera P6 or similar tools
  • Strong understanding of construction methodologies and sequencing
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining collaboration with the wider project team
  • A proactive and detail-oriented approach to planning and scheduling
