Estimator Drywall Experience

Are you an experienced Estimator with a strong background in drywall and partitioning systems? A leading specialist interior fit-out contractor, renowned for delivering high-quality packages on complex commercial projects, is looking to expand its commercial team with the addition of a talented Estimator.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established and forward-thinking business that works with some of the UK s most prominent main contractors and clients across sectors including commercial offices, education, healthcare, and data centres. Role Overview: As Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for drywall, ceilings, and partitioning works. You'll work closely with the pre-construction and project delivery teams, playing a key role in tender submissions and ensuring commercially sound proposals. Key Responsibilities:

• Review tender documents and technical drawings to produce detailed take-offs and cost estimates
• Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing
• Contribute to value engineering proposals and commercial strategies
• Attend pre-tender and post-tender meetings as required
• Maintain accurate records of tenders submitted and feedback received
• Work collaboratively within a dynamic estimating team

Requirements:

• Proven experience in estimating drywall, partitions, and suspended ceilings within the construction fit-out sector
• Strong commercial awareness and understanding of project requirements
• Proficient in relevant estimating software and MS Excel
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
• Ability to work to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
