As the company grows, they are looking for a skilled Estimator to join their team. This role offers a unique opportunity for someone with experience in high-end fit-outs and a passion for cost management to contribute to the successful delivery of high-value projects. If you're ready to take the next step in your career, we'd love to hear from you.

Role Overview:

As an Estimator, you will be responsible for delivering precise and comprehensive cost estimates for luxury interior fit-out projects. From the initial stages of tendering through to finalising budgets, your expertise will help ensure that projects are delivered within budget while meeting the high standards expected by their prestigious clients.

This role requires someone with strong technical skills, a deep understanding of luxury materials and finishes, and the ability to collaborate effectively with designers, project managers, and contractors to deliver excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cost Estimation: Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for interior fit-out projects, covering all materials, labor, and other resources. Ensure all estimates reflect the bespoke nature of high-end projects.

  • Tender Preparation: Take the lead on tender submissions, compiling detailed cost breakdowns and ensuring all pricing is competitive and reflective of project scope.

  • Supplier & Subcontractor Engagement: Work closely with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain accurate quotes, build relationships, and ensure the best pricing and quality.

  • Budget Management: Collaborate with the project management team to monitor budgets, identify any potential cost overruns, and provide proactive solutions to keep projects within financial expectations.

  • Value Engineering: Recommend value-engineering options to reduce costs without sacrificing quality, working closely with the design team to align with client expectations.

  • Cost Reporting: Prepare regular and detailed cost reports for senior management, outlining key financial metrics, progress, and any challenges or risks.

  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and uncertainties during the estimation process, providing proactive strategies for mitigation.

  • Collaboration: Collaborate with project managers, designers, and other stakeholders to ensure estimates align with the project vision and design intent.

What We're Looking For:
  • Experience: A minimum of 3-5 years' experience as an Estimator within the high-end interior fit-out sector, particularly for luxury projects like hotels, spas, offices, and bars.

  • Technical Expertise: Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., CostX, ProEst), and excellent MS Excel skills. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

  • Industry Knowledge: A strong understanding of high-end finishes, bespoke materials, and construction methods specific to the luxury hospitality, retail, and commercial sectors.

  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present and explain complex estimates clearly to both internal stakeholders and clients.

  • Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail and a methodical approach to estimating and cost planning.

  • Team Player: A collaborative approach with the ability to work closely with project managers, designers, and subcontractors to achieve successful outcomes.

  • Qualifications: A degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred, along with any relevant certifications.

Desirable Skills:
  • Previous experience in luxury retail or hospitality fit-outs.

  • Familiarity with sustainability practices and eco-friendly materials.

  • A strong ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Why This Opportunity is Exciting:
  • Work on prestigious, high-profile projects that redefine luxury interiors.

  • Competitive salary and benefits package.

  • Strong opportunities for professional growth.

  • A dynamic, innovative, and collaborative team environment where your contributions will directly impact the success of landmark projects.

  • A chance to be part of a company renowned for its craftsmanship and quality in the high-end fit-out industry.
