Electrical Project Engineer - Major M&E Contractor ( 200m T/O)

Our client is a leading 200m turnover M&E Building Services Contractor delivering high-quality mechanical and electrical projects up to 50m M&E value. Operating across the residential, commercial, and mixed-use sectors, they have built a strong reputation for technical delivery, innovation, and long-term client relationships.

As an Electrical Project Engineer, you will support the successful delivery of large-scale M&E schemes from Stage 4 design through to completion. Working closely with the Project Manager and design team, you'll ensure projects meet technical, quality, and programme targets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and coordinate electrical engineering works from design development (Stage 4) to installation and commissioning.

• Liaise with consultants, clients, and internal teams to ensure design intent and compliance.

• Oversee subcontractor performance, QA processes, and technical documentation.

• Support value engineering, procurement, and design review processes.

• Ensure health, safety, and environmental standards are met across all works.

• Minimum HNC in Electrical Engineering or time-served background.

• Proven experience delivering large M&E projects from Stage 4 design onward.

• Strong understanding of building services coordination, commissioning, and technical delivery.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Previous experience with Tier 1 or major M&E contractors advantageous.
