Quantity Surveyor - Drylining

Location: London (projects across Central & Greater London) Salary: 65,000 - 75,000 + package (depending on experience) Sector: Drylining / Interiors / Fit-Out

We're working with a leading specialist drylining contractor delivering high-end commercial, residential, and mixed-use projects across London. With a strong pipeline of ongoing schemes and new tenders secured, the business is now seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a solid background in drylining or interior subcontracting, looking to take the next step in a fast-paced, well-structured contractor known for delivering quality and maintaining strong client relationships.

The Role:

As a Quantity Surveyor, you'll be responsible for the full commercial management of drylining packages on major fit-out and refurbishment schemes, ensuring financial control, risk management, and project profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee commercial and contractual management of drylining and partitioning projects.

  • Prepare, submit and manage interim valuations, variations, and final accounts.

  • Liaise closely with clients, main contractors, and site teams to ensure accurate cost tracking.

  • Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to achieve best value.

  • Provide accurate monthly cost reports, CVRs, and forecasts.

  • Support senior management with commercial strategy and client relationships.

Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years' experience as a Quantity Surveyor within a drylining, ceilings & partitions, or interiors subcontractor.

  • Strong understanding of subcontractor commercial processes (valuations, variations, cost control).

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Confident communicator, both with clients and internal teams.

  • Ideally degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or related discipline.

Package & Benefits:
  • Salary: 65,000 - 75,000 (DOE)
