Our client, a major contributor to a high-profile rail infrastructure programme shaping the future of UK transport, is seeking a proactive and experienced Quality Manager to lead and oversee quality assurance across all phases of delivery with a strong knowledge of buildings, civils and structures. As the Quality Manager, you will be the central figure for all quality-related matters on site. Your duties will include:

  • Acting as the primary point of contact for quality across the project
  • Assisting the project team in preparing Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs)
  • Reviewing ITPs submitted by subcontractors for compliance and completeness
  • Regularly reviewing and updating the Quality Management Plan (QMP)
  • Participating in progress meetings and reporting quality concerns to senior management
  • Collaborating with Construction Managers to ensure quality processes are implemented on site
  • Conducting inspections and audits to verify adherence to quality procedures and standards
  • Supporting teams in compiling and submitting quality documentation packages
  • Managing non-conformities and driving performance improvement actions to closure
  • Providing quality input into supplier pre-qualification assessments when required
Job Requirements:

We're looking for someone who brings:

  • Proven experience in quality management within large-scale infrastructure or rail projects
  • Strong understanding of construction quality systems, ITPs, and QMPs
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Ability to work independently and drive quality culture across the project
