Our client is looking for a seasoned Power Systems Engineer to join their leading engineering consultancy, on a permanent basis, whereby all operations will take place from one of their offices across the UK. This role provides an invaluable opportunity, for one talented individual, to expand their professional knowledge and expertise across a variety of Electrical projects, covering Mission Critical, Infrastructure, and Data Centre sectors.
-Competitive salary ranging from 50,000- 60,000 (subject to experience).

Responsibilities:
-Produce detailed electrical power system designs and specifications, for HV, MV, and LV distribution processes, across large and small-scale projects.
-Conduct a variety of performance assessments, across a range of electrical elements, such as the testing of load flow, fault current, and more.
-Coordinate with professional engineers, consultants, and clients, ensuring the smooth integration of design solutions, allowing for efficiency and accuracy.
-Guide and mentor junior engineers, promoting their professional growth, whilst also supporting performance reviews, risk assessments, and overall project planning.
-Ensure alignment with relevant industry standards and regulations, whilst allowing sustainability and low-carbon goals to be achieved and maintained.
-Nurture business progression via project proposal preparation, identifying power system advancement and implementing them, and attending client meetings.
Requirements:
-Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline, with a chartered engineering status is preferable.
-Profound experience as a Power Systems Engineer, or a similar role, ideally having worked on Infrastructure, Mission Critical, and Data Centre projects.
-Significant understanding of HV, MV, and LV distribution systems, within both small and large-scale projects.
-Acknowledgement of relevant industry standards, regulations, and sustainability practices.
-Strong communication and collaboration skills, with an ability to establish solid rapport with clients and other relevant professional parties.
